该剧根据清代蒲松龄小说《聊斋志异》改编。分为上下两部一共六个独立成篇的单元故事，分别是《乾坤》，《陆判》，《花姑子》，《恒娘》，《连琐》和《夜叉国》。
讲述转校生大场诚在新学校的悲惨遭遇，因为不了解某些游戏规则，又仗义执言，触碰了暗流势力，又不幸发现了一些不该知道的秘密，于是在学生和老师的双重夹击下，最终被校园恶势力欺负至死。故事前半段着力校园暴力事件，后半段则重点讲述父亲的复仇。
